Landes Premium Apartments
Landes Condominiums are premium condo homes located in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle. This site was created to showcase the building and generate excitement about the project.
My Role
I was contracted by Design Elements Inc. to design and develop the small website from the ground up.
Concept & Art Direction
The decided upon design direction revolved around making the building itself the center of attention and all info would be worked around the beautifully rendered image. The experience filled the browser window depending on how the browser was scaled. Users could move their mouse around the large image and explore it in more detail, as well as dive into content as it related to the image.
After 8pm, the rendered image would darken to represent the night view of the building. Users could also choose to view either day or night views by pressing a button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Since the Landes logo and Brand was built around the subtle arc shape that reflected the dwelling's geographical home on top of the "Hill", I played off of that using the arched navigation and content area shape.
