Panasonic Touchscreen In-Flight Device

Client: Teague/Panasonic
Role: Flash Development/Animation
Year: 2008

About the Project

Teague, a premier industrial design firm, worked with Panasonic to design and develop the hardware/software for a device that would allow first-class airline passengers to play back music and video while in-flight. The device utilized entirely touch-based interactions, and could be synced to a iPod device for playback of customer's personal files.

My Role

I was asked to help the lead interaction designer at Teague prototype, develop and animate certain aspects of the proposed product to outline the vision for the client, and pave the way for user testing and analysis.

Below are several screenshots that were taken of the prototype, which illustrate the path a user would take as they moved from turning the device on to playing music or watching a video.
