Microsoft Surface (FILTER) / Senior User Experience Designer / Feb 2010 - Feb 2011
I have been fortunate to work with an amazing team of User Experience Designers, User Researchers, Industrial Designers and Developers to help craft and produce the software platform for Surface 2. I had a wide sphere of influence, assisting with the visual and interaction design of the product, direction of the creative vision for the sound design and third party TAP applications, and design of the supporting SDK applications. I was also the lead designer responsible for most of the transition and animation design for the Surface OS.
BLE Interactive (freelance) / Interactive Designer & Flash Developer / June 2005 - Present
I provide freelance Art Direction, Interactive Design, and Flash Development services to a range of clients including Microsoft, Sony, Panasonic, T-Mobile Creation Labs, Cingular Wireless, Expedia, Seattle Supersonics, Hornall Anderson Design, ZAAZ, Garrigan Lyman Group, Teague, and many others.
Seattle Art Institute / Adjunct Instructor / January 2007 - December 2010
I taught two classes on Interactive Design and Flash/ActionScript development theory and practice. My intent is to encourage students to marry their technical and creative abilities. I also act as a mentor and career counselor to select students.

While at E&A I designed web sites, CD/DVD-ROMs, and print marketing materials for a variety of large, medium, and small businesses. Responsible for mentoring and hiring other designers. Developed front end web sites and interactive modules using Flash/ActionScript, XHTML & CSS.

Worked on-site at Avanade redesigning and localizing the corporate web site in over 15 languages.
